M-Pesa deposit not reflecting in your DBBet account?
If your M-Pesa deposit has not shown up, first check your phone for the M-Pesa confirmation SMS. No SMS means the money never left your M-Pesa, and you can simply deposit again. If the SMS is there, the payment did go out — refresh the cashier, then allow 15 to 20 minutes before contacting support with your transaction code.

This is an unpleasant few minutes — you have sent money and the balance has not moved. The good news is that the diagnosis is quick, and in most cases nothing has actually been taken from your M-Pesa. Work through the steps in order.
1. Start here: did the money actually leave your M-Pesa?
Everything else depends on this one answer, so do it before anything else. Open your phone's messages and look for an M-Pesa confirmation SMS for the amount you tried to deposit, timed to the minute you tried it.
That message is your proof of payment. It begins with a transaction code — a short mix of letters and numbers, followed by the word "Confirmed" — then the amount, the recipient and the time.
Do not rely on your memory of seeing a prompt, and do not rely on the DBBet screen. Check the SMS. If you are unsure, check your M-Pesa balance too — if it is unchanged, no payment went out.
2. No confirmation SMS: the payment never completed
This is the most common situation by a wide margin, and it is also the easiest. The money is still in your M-Pesa. Something interrupted the payment before it went through, usually one of these:
- The STK push timed out. The PIN prompt only stays on screen for a short window. If you were reading the amount, switching apps or waiting for the prompt to load, it can disappear before you finish typing.
- The prompt never arrived. On a weak signal, or when the network is congested, the push can simply fail to reach your handset.
- The PIN was wrong, or you cancelled. An incorrect PIN ends the transaction and nothing is charged.
- Not enough in your M-Pesa. If your M-Pesa balance is below the amount you entered, the payment fails.
- Below the minimum. The minimum M-Pesa deposit is KES 30. Anything under that will not go through.
The fix is to make the deposit again, carefully:
- Make sure you have a decent signal — switch between mobile data and Wi-Fi if the connection is patchy.
- Open the cashier and choose Deposit.
- Choose M-Pesa and enter the amount.
- Keep your phone unlocked and on screen, and wait for the STK push.
- Enter your M-Pesa PIN on the prompt as soon as it appears.
- Wait for the M-Pesa confirmation SMS. The funds land in your DBBet balance instantly.

3. You have the SMS but the balance has not moved
Now the money has definitely left your M-Pesa, so stop and do not repeat the payment. Two quick checks first, then contact support.
Rule out a display problem
- Refresh. Close and reopen the cashier, or pull the page down to refresh it.
- Log out and back in. A stale session is a surprisingly common reason a correct balance does not show.
- Check you are in the right account. If you have ever registered twice — say on two different numbers — the money may have credited an account you are not currently looking at. Our guide to DBBet login problems covers how to work out which number your account is on.
- Try the other surface. If you are in the app, open the site in a browser, or the other way round. Same account, same balance.
Give it 15–20 minutes, then contact support
Deposits are normally instant, but a small number take longer to settle. If you have the M-Pesa confirmation SMS and a refresh has not fixed it, allow 15 to 20 minutes before raising it — that covers the great majority of slow ones. If it is still missing after that, go to contact and send the details listed in section 5 — above all, the transaction code.
4. Other reasons a deposit goes missing
You paid from a different number
If you used a friend's phone, a second SIM, or your other line, the payment did not come from the number your account is registered on. Do not assume it will find its way across. Send support both numbers along with the transaction code.
A digit was wrong somewhere
Re-read the confirmation SMS carefully. Check the amount matches what you meant to send and that the recipient details look right. If the amount in the SMS is different from the amount you entered in the cashier, say so when you contact support — it changes what they need to look for.
Safaricom-side delays
On heavy-traffic evenings, or during planned M-Pesa maintenance, confirmations can lag. This shows up as an SMS that arrives several minutes late, or a prompt that appears twice. If you suspect this, check whether other M-Pesa payments are behaving normally before assuming the problem is on the betting side.
The deposit went through but a bonus did not
If your cash balance updated and only the extra is missing, that is a different question from a missing deposit. M-Pesa Fast adds an extra 30% once per day, but it does not apply to every deposit — the deposit has to be USD 10 or more to qualify. Anything smaller credits normally without the extra, and that is working as intended rather than a fault. This catches people out because the general M-Pesa minimum is only KES 30, which is far below the amount the 30% needs.
The qualifying amount is set in dollars, so the shilling figure shifts a little with the exchange rate — the deposit screen in the cashier shows the current KES equivalent before you pay. If your deposit did clear it and the extra still has not appeared, raise it with support rather than depositing again.
5. Exactly what to send support
This is the part that decides whether your deposit is sorted in one message or five. Send all of it at once:
- The M-Pesa transaction code — the reference at the start of the confirmation SMS. Without this, nothing can be traced.
- The exact amount in KES, as shown in the SMS.
- The exact date and time of the payment, to the minute, as shown in the SMS.
- The phone number registered on your DBBet account, and the number the payment was sent from if they are different.
- A screenshot of the confirmation SMS, or the message forwarded in full. This is faster and less error-prone than retyping the code.
- What you see on your side — the balance, and any error message word for word.
Reach the team through the contact page, or email info-en@db-bet-team.com. If you believe someone else has accessed your account or moved your money, use security@db-bet-team.com instead.
Support is available 24/7, so you can raise a missing deposit whenever it happens rather than waiting for office hours.
6. Staying safe while you sort it out
Missing-money situations are exactly when people get targeted, so keep these in mind:
- Only use the contact routes on this site. Numbers and "agents" found in comment sections or social media replies are not DBBet.
- Nobody needs your PIN to fix a deposit. The transaction code is enough.
- Ignore anyone who offers to "reverse" or "recover" your deposit for a fee.
Never share your password or your M-Pesa PIN with anyone. DBBet staff will never ask for either.
7. Avoiding it next time
- Deposit on a stable connection. Most failed pushes are network problems, not account problems.
- Stay on the screen until the PIN prompt appears, then enter it straight away rather than switching apps.
- Always keep the confirmation SMS. Do not clear your M-Pesa messages — that SMS is your only proof if something goes wrong.
- Use the number your account is registered on, every time.
- Set your own limits. Deciding a deposit amount before you open the cashier keeps things calm. See responsible gaming for the tools available and where to get help if betting stops being fun.
